Koenigsegg Automotive, the Swedish manufacturer of high-performance sports cars, has made significant progress in managing its extensive printer portfolio and production processes by integrating the cloud-based 3DPrinterOS platform.
Tim Bäck, team leader for CNC and 3D printing prototyping at Koenigsegg, has been a key part of the company for nearly nine years. His focus is on carbon fiber body work, such as that used on the Agera RS. Kristian Ljungkvist, who has been with the company for five years, is the 3D printing expert and plays a key role in optimizing 3D printing workflows.
In the last 2.5 years, the number of 3D printers at Koenigsegg has grown to an impressive 17, including 11 FDM printers and a number of resin-based printers.
