Nexa3D introduces new Ultra-Fast Desktop Post Processing

3D printing specialist Nexa3D presented the introduction of a desktop post-processing system at Formnext. xCURE can reduce post-processing time by up to 80%.

This brings ultra-fast post-processing to the desktop. In addition, the company introduced three new industrial resins that enable new applications in the automotive, aerospace, electronics and dental industries.

The new xCURE desktop post-processing solution and resins will be showcased at Formnext on the Nexa3D stand E31 in Hall 11.1.

The xCURE Desktop system is a powerful UV curing system that supports three different wavelengths (365 nm, 385 nm and 405 nm). It is therefore a versatile solution for all resin printers. Housed in a robust, anodized metal housing, xCURE Desktop reduces curing times by up to 80%, with most parts curing in under 10 minutes. This enables much faster post-processing of parts, with Nexa3D providing pre-built curing workflows for consistent mechanical properties and predictable part performance.

The xPRO9400-FR resin, developed in partnership with BASF ForwardAM, sets new standards in flame-retardant 3D printing materials. This rigid material with a UL 94 V-0 rating is halogen-free and has an exceptionally high heat deflection temperature (HDT) of over 250 °C. It is ideal for production parts in the automotive and aerospace industries, electronics, custom fixtures and more. It is characterized by low viscosity, easy handling and exceptional temperature resistance.

Henkel’s PRO9499 White is a cost-effective modeling material that offers excellent detail resolution and accuracy. It maintains a brilliant matte white finish even after post-curing, making it ideal for a variety of modeling applications.

Saremco Print CROWNTEC is a superior, biocompatible composite resin specifically designed for permanent dental restorations. It offers a wide range of applications including inlays, onlays, veneers, dentures and temporary bridges, but is most commonly used for temporary and permanent crowns.

Nexa3D is committed to pushing the boundaries of 3D printing technology. These new products are a testament to the company’s commitment to innovation, quality and versatility in the field of ultra-fast, high-throughput 3D printing.
