Rivelin Robotics will present its Netshape robots for fully automated post-processing of metal-AM parts at Formnext.
Rivelin Robotics offers several post-processing cells for metal AM, including NS0, NS1 and NS2. These cells contain robots from Yaskawa Europe and are controlled by Rivelin’s Netshape software. Visitors can experience these microfactories live, equipped with state-of-the-art sensors and processes. The intelligent software combines machine learning and deterministic control theory to optimize the quality and repeatability of support removal and finishing.
As AM scales to meet the needs of different industries, post-processing phases, including support removal and surface finishing, become important factors.
Robert Bush, CEO of Rivelin, explains that in addition to the Netshape robots, a concept for internal channel depowdering being developed with Solukon will also be on display at Formnext.
