Blueprint Advanced Manufacturing starts with six-figure initial investment

Blueprint Advanced Manufacturing GmbH officially opened its doors for business on October 4th, 2022.  By combining the use of state-of-the-art production technologies and expertise in surface finishing, custom parts and components meeting industrial quality standards can be created.  From idea to production to delivery, Blueprint as a development and manufacturing partner enables efficient product manufacturing options from all levels of part complexity.

“We are the interface between the ideas of our technology-driven customers and the solutions for economically viable manufacturing,” says Jens Harmeling, Co-Founder of Blueprint Advanced Manufacturing GmbH, who was previously Managing Director of an additive manufacturing competence center.

“We support and enable our partners’ sustainability goals through better use of raw materials, low carbon footprint, and new product morphologies,” highlights Co-Founder Jordan Kopping, who draws on a wealth of materials expertise from his previous role at BASF.

With the cumulative experience of otheir founders and the joined support from experienced entrepreneurs Ferdinand Piёch and Prof. Hanns-Peter Knaebel, Blueprint Advanced Manufacturing GmbH was already able to acquire its state-of-the-art production equipment utilizing its six-figure initial capital investment.

“I am convinced that technological competence and personal expertise are the keys to successful customer-specific solutions that will lead to our company’s success,” says advisory board member Prof. Dr. Hanns-Peter Knaebel, who has previously held a wide variety of top-level management positions.

For Blueprint, advanced manufacturing originates with the customer’s idea where the optimal technological product solutions for market success will be defined. From plastic components for medical devices to small series for consumer goods, Blueprint creates solutions for product manufacturing for customer-specific requirements. Efficient production methods are used for complex parts in one piece (including surface finishing). The two founders deliberately chose the location in the northern Allgäu region because it offers optimal logistical connections.
