LTS Maskin AS, a well-known player in the machine tool sector in Norway, has recently announced its partnership with Meltio, a manufacturer of disruptive laser metal wire deposition technology. This cooperation positions LTS Maskin AS as the official distributor for Meltio’s metal printing solutions in the Norwegian market.
Meltio has made a name for itself with an innovative metal printing solution that enables industrial applications through the use of welding wire. This material is considered to be one of the safest, cleanest and most cost-effective metal feeders on the market. The technology is based on an advanced process that combines additive manufacturing with laser wire cladding.
LTS Maskin AS will focus on building a supportive ecosystem for Meltio’s technology in Norway. This includes working with technology centers, machine tool companies, robot integrators, academia and industry to promote business opportunities.
