MakerVerse receives ISO 27001 Certification for Information Security

MakerVerse, a manufacturing platform that produces industrial components on demand, has announced that it has received the globally recognized ISO 27001:2017 certification for information security.

“This recognition underscores our dedication to maintaining the highest data security and privacy standards,” said Tim Schark, MakerVerse CFO. “It further emphasizes our commitment to offering unparalleled services to our customers while ensuring robust security measures are in place.”

Founded in 2022, MakerVerse provides over 12 manufacturing technologies, including 3D printing, CNC machining and many others, to help companies access the parts they need. Furthermore, MakerVerse offers a full range of manufacturing services and supports customers with detailed manufacturing and quality plans. The company is also ISO 9001 certified for its quality management system.

ISO 27001 certification is a globally accepted standard that defines the requirements for establishing, implementing and improving an information security management system (ISMS). The main focus is on controls for information security, data protection and continuous optimization of the ISMS.

For certification, MakerVerse’s ISMS was comprehensively evaluated, taking into account policies, procedures and processes for protecting services and customer data. This review included a thorough audit by TÜV SÜD to assess MakerVerse’s security controls (e.g., secure development practices, access controls, and cryptography).

After receiving ISO 27001:2017 certification, MakerVerse is well positioned to expand its services and ensure that partners and customers experience a highly secure and reliable manufacturing platform.
