Stratasys sets sights on Hannover Messe with new 3D printing introductions and high- level customer announcements

Stratasys will use this year’s Hannover Messe (April 1-5) as the platform on which to announce important product news that will significantly benefit those seeking to leverage the opportunities offered by its growing additive manufacturing offering.

Stratasys will also unveil new details of a global manufacturer customer that is enjoying unique material benefits, as well as significant time and cost savings from deploying its 3D printing solutions across its production process.

In addition to these announcements, visitors can look forward to up-close demonstrations of the company’s very latest PolyJet and FDM additive manufacturing solutions live on the stand. This will also offer the opportunity to see a series of complex 3D printed parts from a range of industries and learn about diverse application possibilities – from ultra-realistic fully-functional prototypes, to tooling and final part-production.

One such example is global cleaning technology leader, Kärcher, which is leveraging the world’s only multi-material, full-color 3D printer, the Stratasys J750, for the production of highly-precise prototypes for its EASY!FORCE trigger gun. This has seen Kärcher enjoy substantial reductions in lead times compared to traditional methods, which in turn has enabled it to redistribute efficiency-savings across the production floor and accelerate time-to-market for other products.

Similarly, Stratasys will showcase how plastic part manufacturer, Elkamet, is experiencing incredible benefits from utilizing the FDM-based Fortus 450mc Production 3D Printer to overcome the limitations of traditional low volume tool production by 3D printing lighter, one-off tools on-demand customized to production needs. This has seen Elkamet shorten the production lead times of tools, such as gauges, by up to 75%.

Informative keynote presentation – Thursday 4th April at 4:30pm
As part of its activities at Hannover Messe, Stratasys’ Frank Schäflein will deliver an insightful free-to-attend keynote address entitled, “How to enhance production processes with Stratasys additive manufacturing technology”. Taking place on Thursday 4th April at 4:30pm in Hall 4, Booth E44 (Forum Industrial Supply), this session will offer a closer look at how companies can exploit the full potential of the technology to enjoy improved cost- and time efficiencies throughout the production process.
