3D Printed Candy Factory Opens In Dubai

Following the success in Berlin, The Magic Candy Factory now also  3D prints delicious gummy candy for the customers of the Candylicious store in the Dubai Mall.

The Magic Candy Factory has been developed by German candy manufacturer Katjes. Their special 3D printer for gummy candy can create custom shapes in different colours and flavours within minutes. KATJES_MCF_IMAGES_PRODUCTSHOTS_05Customers can use an iPad app to either choose from a variety of shapes, write words or even draw a picture in the design app developed by Katjes.

Melissa Snover, Managing Director of Katjes Fassin UK Ltd. said: “You get varied tastes and nationalities in Dubai and therefore it was perfect for us to partner with Candylicious. The people of Dubai have a ‘sweet tooth’ and are always interested in the latest tech innovations – a great place to present the Magic Candy Factory.
