3D Systems with changes in corporate management

3D printing manufacturer 3D Systems has announced extensive changes to the company’s management. Reji Puthenveetil, currently head of the Industrial Solutions division, will take on expanded responsibilities as Executive Vice President for Additive Solutions and Chief Commercial Officer.

In the new role, Puthenveetil will be responsible for all commercial activities from sales and marketing to application development. This includes both the industrial and healthcare divisions of 3D Systems.

As part of the streamlining of the sales structure, the long-standing Head of Healthcare, Menno Ellis, will be leaving the company at the end of the year. Instead, the company intends to focus on the two business areas of Healthcare and Industrial Solutions.

According to CEO Jeffrey Graves, this simplification will enable the company to optimize its market launch strategies, reduce costs and be more flexible in the face of market changes. The customer focus on healthcare and industry will be maintained.

In addition to Ellis, Chief Legal Counsel Andy Johnson is also leaving 3D Systems after 17 years. However, Johnson will remain in his role until a new General Counsel takes over.

CEO Graves thanked both executives for their contributions to the realignment and strategic focus of the company in recent years. He expressed his conviction that Ellis and Johnson will continue to successfully take on further leadership roles in the future.
