ACEO® Launches Chinese Website and Webshop for its 3D Printing with Silicones Technology

Today, WACKER, the M unich based chemical company, is launching its Chinese website and webshop for ACEO®’s 3D printing with silicones technology. The new Chinese website provides information, infographics and videos explaining the company’s unique drop-on-demand printing process, while the webshop offers a convenient and secure way to upload CAD or .STL files for ordering. Together with a dedicated local business team, the Chinese website and webshop will make ACEO® ’s silicone 3D printing services more accessible to customers in the region.

“Asia-Pacific is the second biggest region in terms of cumulative industrial 3D systems installed. Within the region, China is the largest additive manufacturing country by far. It is very important to be present in a market with such a great potential,“ says Dr. Bernd Pachaly, Head of Project 3D Printing WACKER SILICONES. “The launch of our new Chinese website and webshop will enable Chinese customers to experience our technology first hand. Together with our dedicated local business team, the website and webshop will make ACEO® ’s silicone 3D printing services more accessible to customers in the region.“

The new Chinese website provides information, infographics and videos explaining ACEO® ‘s unique drop-on-demand printing process. Visitors will also find valuable information on silicone elastomers as well as news and contact information.

The webshop offers a convenient and secure way for B2B companies to place an order in four steps. First, customers can register online. Secondly, customers upload CAD or .STL files, following the ACEO® Design Guidelines to ensure printing feasibility. And then, ACEO® will evaluate the uploaded files, provide a quote, and then ship 10 to 15 days after payment receipt.
