The software company Ai Build and WEBER have expanded their partnership in the field of large-format 3D printing. As the companies announced, WEBER will act as the official distribution partner for Ai Build’s 3D printing software in future.
The aim is to offer a turnkey solution for large-format additive manufacturing by combining software and hardware. The products from Ai Build and WEBER are to be optimally coordinated in order to make it easier for industrial customers to get started with this new technology.
According to Ai Build, the partners share a similar ethos of making additive manufacturing processes as practical and accessible as possible. Ai Build’s software is designed to enable the control and optimization of 3D printing processes. As a traditional extruder manufacturer, WEBER contributes robust and high-quality hardware.
Industrial customers from critical sectors such as aerospace are the main target group. Large-format 3D printing is increasingly becoming a serious manufacturing process here. According to WEBER, the company has more than 60 years of experience in the extrusion and production of robust machines. This expertise is now to be combined with Ai Build’s know-how in software development.
