AMPOWER and Nikon offer comprehensive 3D printing training program

The Hamburg-based consulting company AMPOWER and the Japanese technology group Nikon announce a partnership in the field of training for additive manufacturing. Together, they aim to provide engineers with extensive knowledge of Nikon’s 3D printing solutions.

According to the companies, additive manufacturing has great potential for modern production. With combined expertise, AMPOWER and Nikon aim to tap into that potential. The initial focus is on Nikon’s Lasermeister 100A laser melting system. Interested parties can already use an e-learning program that imparts knowledge about technology, materials and applications.

Nikon says it has been relying on AMPOWER training for some time to build its internal 3D printing capabilities. Now that knowledge will be made available to customers and partners. More online courses are planned for 2024.

The training is designed to enable engineers to make the best use of Nikon systems. According to the partners, additive manufacturing is thus being adapted by more and more companies and industries.
