Burms integrates Mechnano Resins into MiiCraft Printer Series

The 3D printing landscape is constantly changing, and the latest advancement comes in the form of a collaboration between renowned 3D printing manufacturer Burms and Mechnano, a developer of premium resins.

After intensive testing and research, Burms confirmed the qualification of two Mechnano resins, Formula1 and Tough ESD, for integration into their MiiCraft 3D printer series.

“We are pleased to confirm that after thorough examination and research, Mechnano materials, known for their exceptional qualities, have been identified as highly suitable options for our MiiCraft 3D printers,” said Karen Kololyan, Burms E-Commerce Manager.  “These materials hold the promise of elevating our 3D printing projects to a new level, and we are delighted that they have been validated for use with our MiiCraft 3D printers.”

The MiiCraft printer series from Burms, consisting of five machine models, impresses with outstanding build volumes and high-definition LED light engine technology. This combination ensures fast print speeds and outstanding print detail, especially in applications requiring high personalization. The integration of Mechnano’s Formula1 and Tough ESD expands the range of engineering resins available for MiiCraft.

“Burms Miicraft machines are highly advantageous for individuals seeking fast and detailed printing coupled with ESD capabilities,” said Dr. Olga Ivanova, Mechnano Director of Applications & Technology. “Mechnano takes great pride in our commitment to developing resins of exceptional quality. It is truly rewarding to receive the industry recognition that comes with our resins being qualified on top-tier machines.”

Mechnano’s special resins use the exclusive D’Func technology based on discrete carbon nanotubes. This allows the production of high-resolution parts with excellent isotropic properties and without the problem of carbon abrasion. Formula1 in particular is ideal for rigid parts, while Tough ESD enables more flexible applications to prevent fractures.

The combination of Burms’ advanced MiiCraft 3D printer series and Mechnano’s innovative resins points to a new era in 3D printing technology. This move offers users improved manufacturing options, high surface quality and an efficient approach to producing static dissipative parts. It remains exciting to see what further advances and collaborations can be expected in this area.
