Ceramic 3D printing: Lithoz presents ceramic series production with Ceramic 3D Factory

The Austrian company Lithoz is setting new standards for the additive manufacturing of ceramic components at the ceramitec 2024 trade fair. With the “Ceramic 3D Factory” network, Lithoz is presenting a production platform for the serial 3D printing production of ceramics. At the heart of this is the new CeraControl software for monitoring and networking up to 100 CeraFab S65 3D printers.

Until now, 3D printing of ceramic components has mainly been used for prototypes and small series. Lithoz now wants to use the system to enable the industrial series production of complex ceramic parts.

Visitors to the Almatis stand at the trade fair will be able to experience the entry-level CeraFab Lab L30 live in action and see exactly how the high-performance LCM process works. They will also be able to see and touch a wide range of different ceramic components from the Lithoz partner network – from bioimplants and multi-material medical products to technical industrial components. The latter include, for example, high-strength, heat-resistant ceramics for aviation and electrical insulators.
