Dimensionics Density to showcase Automated Density Determination Solution at Formnext 2023

At this year’s Formnext 2023 in Hall 11, Booth C61, Dimensionics Density will present its innovative automated solution for density determination from November 7 to 10. This technology was recommended by Fraunhofer IAPT in an independent study for applications where a density statement needs to be made frequently or quickly – particularly ideal for mass production scenarios.

In addition, the study highlights that the Dimensionics Density solution simplifies the machine approval process, reducing quality assurance costs in additive manufacturing (AM).

Dimensionics Density determination uses the time-tested Archimedes principle combined with modern automation technology. Samples are placed in special carriers that are transported through the system by a robot and precisely placed on scales. These scales are insulated against vibrations and take external influences such as temperature and air pressure into account by means of climate sensors to ensure maximum measurement accuracy.
