Exentis appoints Eric Bert as President Exentis Americas

Exentis Group AG, provider of the only 3D technology platform worldwide that enables industrial large-scale manufacturing, today announces the appointment of Eric Bert as President Exentis Americas.

In this newly created position, Eric Bert will be responsible for establishing the Exentis 3D technology platform in North America, with a focus on the USA as the world’s largest and particularly fast-growing market for additive manufacturing.

Eric Bert has more than 35 years of disruptive technology management experience, including 15 years in senior commercial and leadership roles in the additive manufacturing industry. He most recently served as Senior Vice President – Commercial at Inkbit. Prior roles included Chief Operating Officer of 3DMEDiTech, a personalized medical device manufacturer, North American President of Arcam, a GE Additive company, and Senior Vice President of Global Arcam EBM Sales. He also served as Senior Vice President of Sales at Stratasys, an additive manufacturing equipment supplier, where he built a sales organization and led the company’s high growth period.

As a first step, Exentis will do both, building a sales and service network in the USA and entering into cooperation agreements with various local distributors via its newly formed entity Exentis North America, Inc., initially scaling up its office and facilities footprint in the Boston area.
