GoEngineer acquires 3D printing service provider Rapid PSI

US-based GoEngineer has acquired Kansas-based 3D printing service provider Rapid PSI. GoEngineer specializes in technical solutions around SOLIDWORKS, Stratasys and CAMWorks. With the acquisition, the company aims to expand its expertise and range of services in 3D printing.

According to GoEngineer, Rapid PSI will open up a new dimension in its product portfolio. Together, the partners aim to offer comprehensive 3D printing services from design to finished component. Through certified processes according to AS9100 and ISO 9001, additive manufacturing will thus be made accessible to strictly regulated industries such as aerospace.

GoEngineer sees great synergy potential in pooling the resources and networks of both companies. For customers, 3D printing specialist Rapid PSI thus promises even more powerful solutions to revolutionize their development processes.

According to GoEngineer, the acquisition underscores its commitment to providing end-to-end engineering solutions to the manufacturing industry. It is intended to meaningfully complement the company’s comprehensive engineering capabilities.
