imaterialise Introduces Flat Rate Shipping for 3D Printed Parts

Up to now shipping rates for orders at 3D printing service provider imaterialise have varied depending on the weight and size of the package, the value of the order as well as the country. With their new, more transparent and streamlined pricing system, customers can figure out the shipping rate for their orders more easily.

The new shipping flat rates only depend on the geographic region and you can choose between standard and express delivery for your order.

“This price structure is fairer and more transparent in many ways now. It will benefit several regions, especially those closer to our production facilities,” imaterialise writes in a recent blog post.

For their 3D printing factory in Leuven, imaterialise now also offers a pick-up service for customers in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany and France. Users of European countries as wells as the US, Canada and Mexico will be able to use the UPS My Choice option for deliveries, to reroute and reschedule them.
