Lithoz presents multi-material 3D printer CeraFab Multi 2M30 at Formnext

Austrian 3D printer manufacturer Lithoz will debut its new multi-material 3D printer, the CeraFab Multi 2M30, to the public at the Formnext trade show. According to the company, the device can combine different materials such as ceramics, metal and plastic in one component.

With the CeraFab Multi 2M30, Lithoz aims to open the door to the future of multi-material printing, it says. Opposing material properties such as conductive and insulating can be combined in one printing process. Applications include electronic components or medical devices.

Several components produced with the new printer will also be on display at Formnext. Visitors to the show will be able to see and touch them. In this way, Lithoz aims to illustrate the many possibilities offered by the process.

Lithoz will also be presenting successful applications of its existing LCM technology for series production at its booth. Among others, components from partners such as Steinbach, Bosch and Fraunhofer IKTS will be on display. According to Lithoz, these illustrate the growing demand for 3D printing with ceramics for industrial manufacturing.
