3D printer manufacturer Massivit will showcase the Massivit 10000-G additive manufacturing system for the marine manufacturing market at the IBEX 2023 Marine Technology Tradeshow in Tampa, Oct. 3-5.
The Massivit 10000-G, based on the award-winning Cast In Motion technology, sets new standards in automated, custom composite manufacturing. It enables high-speed direct printing of industrial complex molds, end parts, master tools, gauges, fixtures and prototypes, and simplifies a wide variety of tooling applications. These include custom open and closed molds, resin transfer molds and reaction injection molds.
With the Massivit 10000-G, manufacturers can reduce mold and master production time by 80% and cut labor costs by up to 90%. This enables a significant reduction in downtime for ships and minimizes material waste associated with machining methods. The 3D printer enables printing of large components at up to 30 times the speed of comparable technologies and is already being used by manufacturers in 40 countries.
The printer will be showcased through live demonstrations throughout the show, accompanied by a range of printed production components and molds. Visitors to IBEX can book a personal demo of the Massivit 10000-G to experience the potential of this innovative technology for themselves.
With the introduction of the Massivit 10000-G, Massivit manifests its position at the forefront of 3D printing technology and sets new standards in the field of automated, individual printing of composite materials. The Massivit 10000-G is already regarded as a market-revolutionizing development that offers manufacturers of maritime products significant advantages and optimizations in production processes.
Massivit’s CEO, Erez Zimerman, commented “Following Massivit’s success winning the IBEX Innovation Award in 2022 for the Massivit 10000, we continue to develop and bring to market new products and capabilities in our commitment to solving real-world manufacturing challenges. We’re thrilled to introduce the trailblazing 10000-G that sets a new standard for automated, custom manufacturing and has already been hailed by customers as a game changer that is ‘5 years ahead of the market’.”
