Snowbird Technologies announces it is now a distributor of Meltio, a prominent manufacturer of wire laser metal 3D printheads. These will become part of the company’s proprietary platform – SAMM Tech.

SAMM Tech, a freshly patented additive manufacturing system, is designed to be transported anywhere in the world, enabling the production of large-format metal parts on-site.
From the beginning, Meltio’s system has been an integral part of SAMM Tech and was selected for its performance, quality and functionality. It uses a DED process that works by precisely stacking welding layers. It relies primarily on wire as a metal raw material and allows for the printing of stainless steel, mild steel, titanium and nickel alloy parts.
The distribution partnership allows Snowbird Technologies to sell Meltio products worldwide, including the Meltio motorized robot with dual-wire capability. In addition, Snowbird Technologies provides qualified technical support, site assessments, installations, adjustments and training for all Meltio products.
