MX3D announces distribution partnership with HDC

MX3D, the robotic metal 3D printing company, announces the appointment of HDC as its official sales partner for South Korea. In this partnership, both companies will unlock the potential of robotic Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) for industrial, marine and energy companies as well as research and development centers in South Korea.

HDC has many years of experience in the distribution of 3D printing equipment and services and has built up an extensive distribution network over the past 25 years. The collaboration with MX3D enables HDC to respond to the increasing demand for large-format metal 3D printing.

“For years, HDC has been working with international leaders in the AM industry, our clients know we only work with the best companies in 3D printing” added HDC President Brian Seo. “We see huge potential in this new DED technology, which has already proven itself in many big scale industrial use cases. By partnering with MX3D, we will be capable of offering our customers the best WAAM solution on the market.”

From HDC’s perspective, this agreement strengthens their position as a professional provider of metal 3D printing solutions in various industries. They can expand their offering to their growing premium customer group and now enable the production of significantly larger metal parts than before.

Gijs van der Velden, CEO of MX3D, commented on this partnership, stating, “Working with HDC promises to become a mutually beneficial cooperation. It allows us to further grow our footprint in Asia.” and “At MX3D we strongly believe in partnering with experienced teams who share the excitement about the future of WAAM. In our very first meeting HDC’s CEO Brian C.G. Seo displayed a clear vision on the role and potential of WAAM in Korea. We will support them in their ambitious execution plans.”

Interested parties can meet the HDC team at SIMTOS 2024 from April 1 to 5 at the KINTEX booth 08D140.
