PostProcess builds momentum in Europe with new innovations

PostProcess Technologies announced exciting momentum in the European market across a variety of strategic initiatives involving customers and channel partners in additive manufacturing. With the increased demand for automated and sustainable 3D post-processing solutions throughout Europe, PostProcess opened the doors of a brand new International Tech Center in its European Headquarters in Mougins, France.

This new technical and customer support facility serves as a showroom and training center for European customers and partners, and provides international customers easier access to education and benchmark test equipment. The new facility will conduct strategic innovation projects to cultivate and expand the company’s leadership in automated post-processing solutions globally.

Along with the new International Tech Center, PostProcess is pleased to announce the recent expansion of its network of channel partners. Kvint-R in Hungary is the latest additive manufacturing company to join the PostProcess network. Kvint-R aligns with PostProcess’s customer-first approach and is eager to help additive users automate their operations with fully digitized post-processing solutions. Kvint-R joins the existing PostProcess network of channel partners in 30 countries across 4 continents, including prominent channel partners alphacam and ProductionToGo representing PostProcess solutions in Germany, 3DZ and Cylaos in France, Excelencia Tech in Spain and Portugal, Ballistic Bit in Israel, K.K.Irisu in Japan, BV Products in Australia, 3D Wiser in Czech Republic, Promakim in Turkey, and more.

On the customer front, PostProcess has seen an increased demand for automated, sustainable powder removal for SLS and other production use cases. AnyShape is a testament to the increased demand for these solutions. Headquartered in Belgium, AnyShape is a cutting-edge additive manufacturing service provider that continually invests in state-of-the-art equipment, with a strong focus on productivity, automation and digitization. AnyShape has been operating the PostProcess RADOR surface finishing system for months with success, and just recently extended its collaboration with PostProcess as one of the first companies to beta-test the new Variable Acoustic Displacement (VAD) technology by PostProcess for automated, intelligent powder removal.

“This partnership is fully in line with our vision for how AM serial production should be implemented to secure industrial production locally in our countries. Productivity is key, and the newly developed VAD technology is a big step in this direction,” stated Bertrand Herry, AnyShape CEO. “With its capacity to depowder an EOS P396 SLS production batch at a speed never seen before, the VAD solution is a game-changer able to tackle one of the most time-consuming steps in SLS post-production.”

In parallel, PostProcess has experienced unprecedented demand for wax support removal solutions, particularly in jewelry manufacturing.

Speaking to this growth across Europe, Bruno Bourguet, Managing Director of PostProcess Technologies International states, “Since launching our solution for automated wax support removal in May of this year, we have experienced significant success with seven of the leading luxury and jewelry brands across Europe. As this demand for our digital solution for post-processing grows, we’re excited to provide international customers easier access to our solutions through both our new International Tech Center and the addition of prominent channel partners throughout the region.”
