Solidworks World: German RepRap X1000 Showcase

Attendees to see demonstration of they can 3D print huge and functional parts using the German RepRap X1000 3d printer and SOLIDWORKS software.

Feldkirchen, Munich, February 2017 – German RepRap, a manufacturer of industrial quality 3d printers, today announced that it will demonstrate their X1000 3D printer, capable of printing parts up to 1 meter in size, for the first time in the US at SOLIDWORKS World 2017, being held February 5-8, 2017 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Los Angeles, California, USA. The 19th annual SOLIDWORKS World brings together designers, engineers, managers, and partners to discuss ideas, trends, and the technology shaping the future of product design. Show attendees will see how the German RepRap X1000 3D printer and SOLIDWORKS software allow customers to build huge parts for prototype and functional applications with a wide variety of engineering-grade materials.

As a SOLIDWORKS Partner, German RepRap has developed a family of 3D printers that help engineers build huge 3d printed parts from their Solidworks CAD models with high dimensional accuracy and reliability, while eliminating the headaches of working with expensive and time consuming service bureaus.

“SOLIDWORKS is the best-in-class CAD solution for engineers, and we are proud that German RepRap 3D printers are helping SOLIDWORKS users affordably bring their ideas to life, especially for large parts & industrial applications. We are excited to unveil our X1000 3D printer at SOLIDWORKS World this year, and we are very happy to showcase our upcoming partnership with DOW Corning for our game-changing liquid silicone rubber 3D printing technology,” said Walter Puls, Director for German RepRap, LLC.
