Tekna secures Orders for Tek15 Plasma Systems worth CAD 1.9 Million

Tekna, a leading global provider of advanced material solutions for industry, has received two orders for Tek15 plasma systems. The total value of these orders is CAD 1.9 million, bringing the cumulative year-to-date sales of Tek15 systems to CAD 5.6 million.

Tekna’s plasma systems, acclaimed for their state-of-the-art advanced materials research capabilities, offer various configurations that cater to a spectrum of industries and academic research.

“These latest orders underline yet again our leading position as provider of advanced plasma systems to industry. Our Systems product line provides a strong foundation for our company, while we continue to improve and expand capacity of our own advanced material production systems,” says Luc Dionne, CEO of Tekna.

Both orders are set for delivery in Q3 2024 and come from customers in Australia and Korea. One of the customers will use the Tek15 system to drive creation of innovative materials, both spherical and nano, intended for diverse applications in the medical industry. The other customer, a prominent government agency at the forefront of scientific research, will use the system for development of materials suited for the additive materials industry, with a particular focus on reactive metals.
