Thought3D’s Magigoo 3D Printing Adhesive Gets Sleek Makeover, New and Improved Formulation

The key to a successful 3D print always begins with the first layer, the starting point between your innovative idea and the physical representation of it. As 3D printing technology becomes more accessible, affordable, and capable of higher quality production, the need for an efficient and high-strength 3D printing adhesive has become more necessary than ever. That’s why the Malta-based startup Thought3D has reimagined the look and formulation of their Magigoo 3D printing adhesive pen, preparing their product for the next generation of desktop 3D printing.

Thought3D has collaborated with the Malta-based leading branding agency BRND WGN to come up with a reinvigorated look and feel for Magigoo. Although 3D printing is an undeniably innovative technology, the industry itself is full of bland branded products that are difficult to differentiate from one another. To set itself apart from the pack, Magigoo’s new skin is both vibrant and bold, creating an identity that stands out among the rest.

“The new branding communicates the ambitions of the Magigoo team”, says Edward Borg, co-founder of Thought3D. “We want to enable creators and help them push boundaries, all while being playful and having fun.”

The new and improved Magigoo promises stronger adhesion and more efficiency at lower operating heat settings. Essentially, this means that even 3D printers with low-temperature heated beds can have the same advantage as those that reach higher temperatures. The Magigoo is also equipped with a higher quality applicator, which allows the adhesive to flow seamlessly, improving both the ease of use and overall user experience.

When Thought3D decided to redesign their adhesive pen, they did so with vivid determination, and with that came a state-of-the art product made with designers and makers in mind. Magigoo was made to match the aesthetic of the most premier desktop 3D printers on the market, to stand proudly aside your most colorful and complex 3D printed objects.

With makerspaces becoming more accessible and plentiful throughout the world, Magigoo’s functional character and ease of use has empowered 3D printing users around the globe. From the first step of adhesion to the last step of removal, the powerful magic of Magigoo is here to help you break the boundaries of creativity and innovation.

You can order a free sample of the new Magigoo from Thought3D at the upcoming TCT Show, which is taking place from September 28 to 29 at the NEC in Birmingham, UK. Those who are not in attendance can obtain a free sample through the new Magigoo website, which will go live this week at TCT. The Magigoo creators will be exhibiting at the TCT Show at stand number C36, and have even more surprises in store for the 3D printing community.
