Tritone and Delray enter into 3D printing distribution partnership

Israel-based Tritone Technologies, a provider of 3D printing solutions for metal and ceramics, has announced a distribution partnership with US-based Delray Systems. The goal is to enter the market and build technical resources in the Detroit area.

According to Tritone, this is another step in its planned expansion into the North American market. In recent months, the company said it has already established a U.S. subsidiary and installed several 3D printers.

According to Joe Rocca, president of Delray, the collaboration could now offer customers complete end-to-end solutions for the production of metal and ceramic components. Tritone addresses a gap in the market with its powder-free 3D printing technology, he said.

Tritone relies on its proprietary MoldJet process, which is designed to enable industrial production of metal and ceramic parts without powder. According to Tritone, the technology is particularly suitable for complex series parts in large quantities.

The partnership with the established sales partner Delray should make it easier for Tritone to enter the market in the automotive stronghold of Detroit. It is hoped to grow its presence in the region, Tritone said. The collaboration underscores the company’s expansion efforts in North America.
