Israeli 3D printing supplier Tritone Technologies will present a broad portfolio of metal and ceramic 3D printing solutions at the Formnext 2023 trade show. The focus will be on the MoldJet systems Dominant and Dim, which can be used to industrially manufacture metallic and ceramic components.
According to Tritone, MoldJet technology is suitable for 3D printing a wide range of materials, including copper, various types of steel, titanium, tool steels, high-temperature alloys and ceramics. Applications range from automotive and aerospace to medical devices and consumer electronics.
A live print demonstrates the benefits of the MoldJet process, Tritone said in the announcement. These include the powder-free and non-contact process, the high robustness of the green parts, and a safe production environment, it said. A presentation on simulation-based prediction of warpage and residual stresses in MoldJet parts will also be held in conjunction with software vendor Ansys, it said.
According to the company, its participation at Formnext underscores Tritone’s continued growth in the European market. Tritone was founded in 2017 and is led by an experienced team of experts. Funding from venture capitalist Fortissimo is expected to secure further growth.
