Turkish 3D printer manufacturer Zaxe has received a $2 million investment. The funding round was led by a government development fund and other investors including KVK and Omurga Technology Fund.
Zaxe says it plans to use the fresh capital to further accelerate growth and become a major player in the global 3D printing market. Since 2015, the company has specialized in rapid and independent manufacturing using 3D printing.
The Zaxe product range includes hardware, software and materials for 3D printing. According to the manufacturer, the printers score with high printing speed, AI-based functions and plug-and-play concept. They are already being used in more than 15 countries in Europe and North America.
Zaxe’s founders said they will use the new funding to further realize the company’s vision of using 3D printing to make production easier and faster than traditional manufacturing methods. They see themselves on the way to becoming a global player in the 3D printing industry.
