VeriTX receives Patent for Galactic Extrusion Manufacturing Solution (GEMS)

Startup VeriTX announced that it has received a patent for its Galactic Extrusion Manufacturing Solution (GEMS). The patent, issued by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, recognizes the unique and innovative nature of GEMS, which enables the manufacture of high-value, space-qualified components using advanced 3D printing technology.

GEMS uses a proprietary process that combines 3D printing and extrusion technology to produce rugged, lightweight and durable parts. It has the potential to transform the aerospace industry and enable cost-effective and sustainable space exploration.

VeriTX Corp. recently introduced Fortis, a data integrity monitoring system. This is essential for data-centric companies that rely on artificial intelligence, machine learning and data-driven decision making. Fortis ensures that users or devices such as GEMS are not using corrupted data.

“We are thrilled to receive this patent award for GEMS,” said VeriTX Corp. CEO Col James Allen Regenor, USAF (ret). “This is a major milestone for our company and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. GEMS has the potential to transform the way we manufacture in space, and with Fortis, we can ensure that critical data is protected and secure throughout the process.”
