WASP brings Digital Clay Factory to Japan

WASP will participate in the AM Japan (Additive Manufacturing EXPO) trade show in Tokyo from June 21-23, 2023. The company is known for developing 3D printing systems that can use natural materials such as clay.

At the show, WASP will showcase its latest clay-line printer version, which enables 3D printing of ceramics and other pasty materials. On display will be printer models such as the Delta WASP 2040 Clay, WASP 401 00 Clay and WASP 40100 Clay Production, which has two unique features: the Continuous Feeding System and a conveyor belt. In addition, WASP will debut a new 3D modeling tool.

WASP introduces Delta WASP 40100 Clay Production, a new manufacturing concept that combines 3D printing, customization and mass production. The Continuous Feeding System enables continuous 24/7 production.

With WASP’s new slicing software, individual parts can be mass produced, even different parts in the same G-code. An online tool soon to be available in Japan will enable parametric design for 3D printing without specialized knowledge.

WASP, already present in the Japanese market with its Clay 3D printers, is expanding its capabilities there. It is supported by 3D Printing Corporation and IAA Atelier.
