Carbon, a global 3D printing company, has added a new one-part resin to its materials portfolio.
Loctite 3843 HDT 60 Matte Black, a photopolymer resin validated for carbon printers, features good impact strength and moderate temperature resistance. As a one-component resin, it is easy to process and saves time and labor. It is ideal for rapid printing of tools, fixtures and decorative parts with smooth surfaces and precise dimensions at room temperature in industrial, consumer and automotive applications.
Thanks to its structure that does not require thermal post-treatment, 3843 is a cost-effective, easy-to-handle and fast alternative for prototyping or rigid, complicated geometries.
With a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of 63ºC, the resin is ideal for room temperature applications. Straightforward processing without thermal post-treatment saves time and the use of skilled labor.
Loctite 3843 has been specifically validated for use on the carbon platform, ensuring consistent surface quality, accuracy and repeatability.
