MakerVerse introduces consulting tool for 3D printing materials

MakerVerse has introduced a new tool for selecting the optimal 3D printing material. This is designed to help manufacturers reduce costs, avoid errors and guarantee the functionality of their products.

The “Technology and Material Advisor” tool allows users to choose from over 20 technical properties, including detail resolution and heat resistance. Based on the project requirements, the system suggests the most suitable materials for various additive manufacturing technologies.

“Tools like this can help users focus on their core competencies, namely innovation and creativity,” says Dr. Markus Seibold, CEO and co-founder of MakerVerse. “Our goal is to relieve users of time-consuming challenges so that they can focus on developing new solutions and products. We take care of everything else.”

The challenge for engineers and designers often lies in finding the right manufacturing method and the right material for each project. The technology and material advisor is just one of the ways that MakerVerse simplifies the production process. In addition to the digital platform, MakerVerse has fully vetted supply chains that provide access to various manufacturing technologies such as CNC machining, injection molding and additive methods.

In addition to the digital services, MakerVerse offers extensive technical services. These range from design-for-manufacturing (DFM) support to end-to-end production support.
