Chromatic 3D Materials introduces New RX-Flow 2500 3D Printer

Chromatic 3D Materials, a provider of materials and technologies for 3D printing, has added the RX-Flow 2500 to its RX-Flow line of printers for printing thermoset polyurethane parts. The new printer features a more compact 348 x 543 x 194 mm workspace while offering the cost efficiency, speed and quality of the larger RX-Flow models.

Ideal for manufacturers who want to cost-effectively produce durable, flexible parts, the RX-Flow 2500 enables printing directly onto a variety of substrates while minimizing waste. For small to medium production batches or prototypes, this is often more cost-effective and faster than traditional mold making processes. Printing technology can save up to 90% in material costs compared to traditional production methods.

With the RX-Flow 2500, companies can reduce time-to-market by quickly iterating new designs and printing finished parts in a variety of sizes and specifications. With print speeds of up to 5,100 mm/min in the X and Y axes and 3,000 mm/min in the Z axis, polyurethane parts can be produced at a rate of one part every 10 seconds.

The 3D printer is designed to print high-quality thermoset polyurethanes, ideal for industrial and consumer applications where durability and flexibility are required.
