Desktop Health launches incubator for health startups in Boston

The Desktop Health company has announced it will open the first-ever incubator specifically for health startups. The “Desktop Health Ink-ubator” will be located in Boston and will offer startups access to Level 2 safety labs and state-of-the-art equipment.

According to Desktop Health, the incubator has state-of-the-art 3D printers such as the Manufacturer Series 3D Bioplotter. There are also fume hoods and other lab equipment to help health startups develop new medical devices.

Startups also benefit from Desktop Health’s expertise and network. Workshops and training courses provide know-how on topics such as materials science, prototyping and regulation. Desktop Health thus aims to provide targeted support for startups working on innovative solutions for the healthcare market.

With the incubator, Desktop Health wants to create a community of founders and scientists who are committed to the further development of medical technology. They look forward to working closely with startups in the future and jointly bringing patient-centric products to market based on the latest technologies such as 3D printing, Desktop Health said.

Companies and founders interested in participating in the incubator program can contact Desktop Health directly.
