3D printer material manufacturer 3DOM, who recently introduced their coffee-based filament “WoundUP“, has partnered with the commercial purging veterans at Dyna-Purge to bring their cleaning filament to the market.
Dyna-Purge 3D Clean is a non-chemical, non-abrasive thermoplastic purging compound to be used when switching between filaments of different colours or type. The use of purging compounds is very common in the injection moulding and extrusion industries and Dyna-Purge now makes this material available to consumers.
“We are very excited to be teaming-up with a leading supplier like Dyna-Purge” states Jake Clark, CEO of 3Dom USA. “As a full service distributor, we recognize that proper machine maintenance plays a critical role in the longevity of a 3D printer. Purging on a regular basis is a cost-effective method for cleaning and preserving your machine. For 35 years, Dyna-Purge has been a trusted name in commercial purging compounds so we are excited to be offering Dyna-Purge® 3D Clean to our customers.”
The 8 inch long (20 cm) segments are available in 1.75 and 2.85 mm diameter in 3DOM’s webshop.
