HP and DyeMansion Foster Strategic Alliance for Advanced 3D Printing Solutions

HP to market DyeMansion’s post-processing workflows as a preferred solution for customers to achieve large-scale production of final parts. Together the company’s focus on delivering high-quality, scalable and eco-friendly solutions in additive manufacturing.

HP and DyeMansion formalize strategic collaboration, bringing together HP’s advanced 3D printing technology and DyeMansion’s innovative post-processing workflows as a preferred solution for customers to achieve large-scale production of final parts in the future. Together, HP and DyeMansion will tackle joint market analysis and provide end-to-end solutions that seamlessly integrate into users’ operations, unlocking new applications and offering mutual support and advice.

This collaboration aims to simplify access to comprehensive solutions for additive manufacturing (AM) users worldwide. The collaboration’s roots trace back to significant moments of innovation, collaboration and a huge joint customer and reseller base globally:

  • May 2020: Introduction of the first-ever color range for grey parts produced with HP Multi Jet Fusion technology, marking the beginning of the collaboration.
  • November 2022: Expansion of the color range to include white parts, enhancing aesthetic and functional customization in 3D printing.
  • September 2023: Joint presentation at AOPA, the leading event for the O&P industry in the US, demonstrating their commitment to the industry.
  • November 2023: Launch of the AM I Navigator, developed with input from HP, DyeMansion, and other industry leaders like Siemens, to guide users through the additive manufacturing process.

Both companies are excited to extend their collaboration at key industry events in 2024, including Formnext, Rapid + TCT, and AMUG, showcasing the synergies between both technologies and a joint vision for the future of manufacturing.

François Minec, Global Head of 3D Polymers at HP, expressed, “The formalization of the strategic collaboration with DyeMansion represents a pivotal moment in our journey together. It combines our leading 3D printing technology with DyeMansion’s detailed post-processing to set new standards in the production of 3D printed parts.”

Felix Ewald, CEO and Co-Founder of DyeMansion, adds, “The close cooperation between printer manufacturers and post-processing technology providers makes it possible to develop useful and market-oriented solutions for AM users worldwide. We at DyeMansion and HP have already internalized this very well. I am very pleased about this and look forward to our upcoming joint activities.”
