Nano Dimension: Change of leadership on the Board of Directors

There has been a change in the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors at 3D printing company Nano Dimension. Following the re-election of all directors at the Annual General Meeting in September, CEO Yoav Stern was relieved of his position as Chairman.

The new Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nano Dimension is now Dr. Yoav Nissan-Cohen. He had been appointed to the board in December 2022 and has experience as CEO at companies such as Tower Semiconductor. Stern will remain CEO of Nano Dimension.

Stern said the separation of the chairman and CEO positions is intended to improve Nano Dimension’s corporate governance and strengthen independent oversight by the board of directors. Stern had previously announced he would also step down as CEO if Nano Dimension’s largest shareholder, Murchinson, were to get new representatives on the board through the election.

Nano Dimension had recently opposed a Stratasys merger with Desktop Metal as a 14.1 percent shareholder in Stratasys. According to Nissan-Cohen, they want to continue to advance Nano Dimension’s inaugural strategy to create value for shareholders.
