SABCA relies on Razorleaf for the implementation of Dassault Systèmes 3D EXPERIENCE platform

Belgian aerospace supplier SABCA announced that it is partnering with Razorleaf to implement Dassault Systèmes’ 3D EXPERIENCE platform. The internationally active IT consulting firm is to support SABCA as a technical service provider during the implementation.

The goal is to use the 3D EXPERIENCE platform to improve data utilization and implement more complex projects more efficiently. By integrating design and manufacturing through a unified digital PLM platform, SABCA aims to optimize collaboration between different teams. According to SABCA, Razorleaf’s expertise with the 3D EXPERIENCE platform played a key role in its choice of partner.

As Jan De Bruyckere, General Manager of Razorleaf Benelux, explained, the PLM solution ENOVIA from Dassault Systèmes will initially be introduced as part of the multi-year implementation. This will enable design and manufacturing to be more closely integrated. There are also plans to use so-called digital twins early in the development cycle. These virtual images of the real parts and assemblies are intended to optimize the use of data throughout the entire lifecycle.

According to Miguel Laduron, Head of IT at SABCA, the introduction of the platform means a major change process for the company. Razorleaf was able to convince with its know-how and will play an important role in achieving SABCA’s digitization goals.
