3D printing service provider Shapeways introduces their RUSH Production pilot program, guaranteeing members for their 3D printed objects to be shipped after a production time of 2 or 3 business days, depending on your location.
You can sign up for the Rush pilot, and Shapeways will sent you a notification via email when you are in. RUSH Production will be available for the plastic materials regular White Strong and Flexible and is limited to objects with a max. size of 150 x 150 x 200 mm.
Customers in North America, Australia and New Zealand are guaranteed a shipment after a production period of 3 business days; orders in all other countries will be shipped after 2 business days. The service, however, does come with a price, which is double the regular charge. According to Shapeways pricing may change in future.
Shapeways is also currently looking for 3D printer owners to expand its global production network to private 3D printer users as well.
