The former Sigma Additive Solutions has completed a strategic change and is now operating under the name NextTrip, Inc. This move follows the acquisition of travel technology provider NextTrip Holdings, based in Sunrise, Florida.
Since March 13, 2024, the company’s shares have been traded on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the new ticker symbol “NTRP”. All trading, reporting and market-related information will be published under this symbol from now on. There are no changes for shareholders and the CUSIP number remains unchanged.
NextTrip positions itself as a technology-driven platform for innovative travel bookings and travel media. The NextTrip Leisure segment offers individual and group travel to popular destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean and worldwide. Through NextTrip Media, users can discover destinations, share information and create travel plans using a social media platform.
The company is also planning a comprehensive AI-based content ecosystem for travel planning, advertising, branding and increasing customer loyalty.
The announced plans reflect a fundamental strategic shift. Instead of the 3D printing sector, NextTrip, Inc. now sees its future in the travel and technology sector. The coming months and years will show whether this change will lead to success.
