Stratasys shows how textile printing companies can open up new revenue streams with 3DFashion technology

At Texprocess in Frankfurt, 3D printer manufacturer Stratasys will present its 3D printing technology 3DFashion for direct-to-textile printing and demonstrate how textile printing companies can use it to achieve profitable growth and open up new design possibilities on behalf of designers and luxury brands.

This technology makes it possible to realize complex designs and optical illusions on fabrics that would not be possible with traditional textile printing methods. Stratasys is not only pushing the creative boundaries for designers and luxury brands, but also addressing issues such as sustainability and personalization in fashion.

In addition to this technology, a Direct-To-Garment tool will be presented, which makes it possible to add new, individual designs to existing garments and thus extend their life cycle. This is in line with the industry’s and customers’ growing need for more sustainable production methods and individual fashion.

The Original Urban Tattoo Collection is also being launched in collaboration with designer Travis Fitch. This collection includes 3D designs inspired by tattoos that can be printed on garments such as jeans and jackets and represents a fusion of art, fashion and technology. It underlines the potential of 3D printing to transform traditional textiles into individual works of art while contributing to sustainability in the fashion industry.

The technological flexibility of the J850 TechStyle printer enables prints on a variety of materials in over 600,000 colors and different finishes, from matte to gloss. Compatibility with various software tools gives users the ability to transform patterns into three-dimensional designs and create customized, high-quality products. These innovations demonstrate Stratasys’ leadership in the 3D printing innovation sector and its commitment to continually pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
