Syndaver launches Apogee large format 3D printer for industrial use

Syndaver has unveiled the Apogee, an industrial-scale 3D printer. The new large format printer represents a departure from Syndaver’s previous desktop models.

According to distributor IT-Works 3D, the Apogee has a huge print volume of 1000 x 1000 x 1000 mm. The fully enclosed housing ensures constant temperatures and can be equipped with an activated carbon filter.

The Apogee is said to be able to process a wide range of engineering plastics such as ABS, PET-G or PC. Thanks to a modular print head system from E3D, nozzle diameters can be changed flexibly. Optionally, printing from plastic pellets is also possible, which promises cost benefits.

Syndaver is thus positioning the Apogee as a high-performance industrial alternative to comparable large-format printers from other manufacturers. The transparent housing enables the print progress to be monitored.
