Voxeldance, an innovative software company in the 3D printing space, announces Tango 4.0, an optimized version of its 3D model preparation product software. The June 19, 2023 release offers new features that improve the user experience and print quality.
Tango 4.0 presents a new rendering engine for increased speed and smoother model review. Import speed of large files has also improved. Users can more easily edit and customize manual support structures. A new support script called Tree Support minimizes material consumption and model contact area, ideal for organic shapes and delicate features.
Adaptive slicing, another new feature, allows individual adjustment of slicing height and different scripts depending on resolution. A brand-new “shrink wrap” feature precisely wraps a layer around the part, ideal for printing models such as ships and architecture. Tango 4.0 has also improved the Smart Support algorithm, allowing for more efficient support structures. In addition, users can sync their scripts and settings to the cloud.

Tango 4.0 is compatible with Windows and Mac OS and supports most 3D printing brands. A free trial version of Tango 4.0 can be downloaded from the Voxeldance website.
