3D-printed sanding belt stand for Dremel multifunction tool released

User Fearless has published a useful sanding belt system for Dremel machines as a free 3D printable model on Printables. The design makes it easier to use long sanding belts for sanding work in the DIY workshop.

The system consists of several separate 3D-printed clamps and a stabilizing side arm. A standard 400 mm long sanding belt made of plastic or sandpaper is clamped into this. This can then be passed under the Dremel machine to process workpieces.

According to the designer, the model is currently primarily suitable for low-speed Dremel models such as the 3000 and 4000 series. Higher-speed variants could damage the clamps due to the higher torque.

In addition to a 3D printer, screws, magnets and ball bearings are required for the replica. The video demonstrates the assembly and use of the tool accessories. Interested makers can download the STL files free of charge.
