Maker’s Supply: Bambu Lab introduces new tool for missing components in 3D printing projects

3D printing enables designers and craft enthusiasts to turn their ideas into reality. However, complex projects often encounter difficulties in finding the right components and accessories. Bambu Lab has created a solution to this problem with “Maker’s Supply”.

Many 3D printing projects require additional non-printing parts such as fasteners, magnets or electronic components. Finding the right parts can be extremely tedious and error-prone. Users often have to measure components manually and model them in CAD software – a time-consuming process.

With Maker’s Supply, Bambu Lab offers a comprehensive library of non-print parts, both physical and digital. The database includes fasteners, magnets, bearings, small parts, electronics and tools. Users can easily purchase the components and retrieve associated 3D models and dimensions.

Integration with MakerWorld

The first batch of parts from Maker’s Supply is already available in the Bambu Store. Corresponding tools for material lists have been integrated into the 3D printing platform MakerWorld. Designers can now create compatibility lists directly on the model upload page. Users who download 3D models can order the required parts with a single click.

The first models already include the material lists and the link to the Bambu Store, as the example “Running Dinosaur Automaton” by Amao Chan shows.
