The 3MF file format developed by the 3MF Consortium gets its own ISO/ASTM standardisation.
The ISO/ASTM 52915-16 describes the framework of the 3MF as a file format for current and future needs of additive manufacturing. This is a step further for the 3MF file format to a broader recognition.
