Dutch 3D printer manufacturer Additive Industries, who recently closed its beta program with three customers on board, announced their partnership with 3DSIM to integrate the exaSIM and FLEX tools into their own software platform. The announcement was made at the Annual Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) Conference.
3DSIM is a US-based software startup that focuses on the simulation of additive manufacturing processes, to accurately predict 3D prints. 3DSIM’s software simulation tools combine algorithms with real-time data to provide the user with a print preview of the object.
Additive Industries will be integrating 3DSIM’s simulation software in their own Additive World Platform to optimise the workflow and increase predictability. Users will be able to optimise builds before they actually print them, thus increase the yield.
The MetalFAB1 will be the first 3D printer to integrate 3DSIM’s simulation tools.
