Airtech introduces Recycled Material for Large Format 3D Printing

Last week at Formnext, the Airtech Advanced Materials Group presented the 3D printing material Dahltram T-100GF. This is a recycled thermoplastic polymer resin for large-format 3D printing with pellets.

This precision engineered material is specifically designed to address the unique challenges of large format 3D printing while contributing to sustainability initiatives in the industry.

The innovation of Dahltram T-100GF lies in the combination of recycled co-polyester resin with glass fiber reinforcement. This combination creates a sustainable material that is proven in various applications such as rapid prototyping, low temperature molding, cutting tools, architectural structures, casting molds and more. Airtech remains committed to expanding its product portfolio with solutions that drive sustainability and contribute to a greener future through the use of large format additive manufacturing technologies.

The key benefits of Dahltram T-100GF resin:

  • Sustainability: Made from recycled co-polyester resin, Dahltram T-100GF underscores Airtech’s commitment to conserving resources and promoting sustainable manufacturing practices in the composites industry.
  • Strength and durability: The addition of glass fiber reinforcement increases the strength of the material and ensures exceptional durability and reliability in a wide range of applications.
  • Versatility: This innovative resin is extremely versatile. It is suitable for various applications, from rapid prototypes to architectural structures, providing an adaptable solution for manufacturers in different industries.
  • Cost-effectiveness: Dahltram T-100GF provides an economically attractive alternative to traditional materials while delivering first-class performance. This makes it a compelling choice for companies looking to optimize their production processes without sacrificing quality.
