Misha Larkin from Russia designed some awesome remote controlled things and published them on Thingiverse.
One of the recent designs is an awesome six-wheeled Martian rover. The design has flexible wheels which can handle most terrain. Most parts can be 3D printed, except for the electronics and a few carbon rods.
